consignment & sales strategy
We accept women’s designer clothing, shoes, accessories & jewelry. Only items in excellent condition and deemed to have resale value will be considered. It is our goal to make your consignment experience as convenient and painless as we possibly can.
You, the consignor, will receive one half of the final sale price for each item you consign with Tribeca’s Closet regardless if the item should sell directly from our e-commerce site or to a private buyer. All overhead expenses associated with the sale, including shipping to the buyer, will be deducted from the remaining half, which Tribeca’s Closet retains.
Our strategy is to sell each of your items at the highest possible price. Being that each item is unique, we determine the best strategy to sell it as quickly as possible for the best price that we feel the item can command. If it takes too long for a particular piece to sell, the price will be lowered at our discretion.
E-mail us a description of what you are looking to sell and we’ll schedule a pick up for a time that’s most suitable for you (pick-ups in NYC only). We’ll also be offering a drop-off location in the very near future. Feel free to contact us at info@tribecascloset.com with any questions or concerns.

2. Once all accepted pieces are listed on our site you you can check the status and pricing of each of your items.
3. When an item(s) sells, the consignor will receive payment by check. Payments will be mailed in the first week of each month.
4. Please note that items are left at your risk. Theft, fire, or damage are *extremely* rare, but could happen. Tribeca’s Closet will not be liable for these events.
